Parks and Rec

Elk Ridge City is proud to support youth and community recreation through our partnership with Salem City. This collaboration gives Elk Ridge residents access to a wide range of sports and recreational programs, along with the excellent facilities Salem provides.

Here in Elk Ridge, Shuler Park is a favorite community spot with a pavilion available for reservations. The city also offers several other parks and open spaces where residents can gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

​Adopted in September 2026, Elk Ridge City’s Trails, Parks, and Open Space Master Plan sets a community-driven vision for the future of our parks, trails, and open spaces. The plan will help guide future improvements, connections, and recreational opportunities as Elk Ridge continues to grow.

Residents are encouraged to get involved by participating in the City’s Parks and Trails Committee and helping with volunteer projects that support and improve our community’s outdoor spaces. Community involvement will continue to play an important role in bringing the Master Plan’s vision to life.
